Our Story

Crafted Minds embodies the concept that we can add learning and sensory experiences to shape the way we encounter the world around us.  Anyone can do this with just about anything, and beer is the focal point of what we do at Crafted Minds LLC. 

We were borne out of a time when things suddenly changed, and a need to stay connected with others became ever so important. It is our goal to connect you to the pleasures of craft beer while interacting with others. We hope that you will join us and enjoy the journey together!

Our Mission

Crafted Minds LLC is focused on creating opportunities for anyone interested in exploring craft beer. We do this through teaching in a supportive environment and connecting with the beer community at large.

Meet Our Founder

Gloria has been in the craft beer industry for over ten years in a variety of capacities – writer, brand ambassador, sales representative, bartender and founder of the Syracuse Women of Craft Beer. A former university professor, she changed careers from higher education to pursue her beer journey. Her writing started with The Hoppy Nomad blog which led to writing for Syracuse’s Table Hopping Newspaper, Beer Advocate Magazine, Cigar Snob, VinePair and more. She is a Cicerone® Certified Beer Server; her love of beer is what drives her to teach others all about it.
